Synopsis
Following a brief battle with an old Klingon D-7 cruiser, the warriors aboard initiate the self destruct and are rescued by Voyager. There, they believe they have found the kuvah’magh – or the saviour of the Klingon people in Paris & Torres’ unborn child.
The Trekzone Review
This baby is very important to a lot of people… not only is she the second child born in seven years on a supposed generation ship (they don’t know it’s only seven years at this point…) but she apparently will save the Klingon people from, themselves I guess? She does end up helping out by way of a cure for Klingon Old Age and the Klingons live happily ever after on some planet.
It was nice to see Tom get all macho for a change, and fight with a Bat’leth, but he only wore down the old man he was fighting by outlasting him. There was some classic Trek combat sequences when some of the Klingons tried to take over the ship and that was cool… we haven’t seen a gold old fashioned dog fight with Klingons since The Way of the Warrior in DS9’s fourth season.
