Synopsis

En route to Dukat’s hearing before a Grand Jury on Starbase 621, Sisko is one of the few survivors when the starship Honshu is attacked by Cardassian forces. Badly injured, Sisko is tendered to by an increasingly delusional Dukat…

The Trekzone Review

Deep Space Nine at it’s finest, adding another layer of grey to it’s ensemble cast. Dukat, the man we’ve loved to hate since the premiere of this series, grows increasingly unstable as he confronts the man who he blames for his demise.

Marc, Avery and Ren‚ excelled at creating some compelling scenes where just two characters share the screen. It was also a great choice by Ron Moore to feature very early on that Dukat is delusional and this whole act is a charade by Dukat to finally have it out with Sisko. The final moments setup the rest of the series for our Captain, he realises now that Gul Dukat must die, something no ordinary Starfleet officer would dare contemplate.
