Odo falls for a mysterious woman while investigating a murder. The simple investigation leads to a complex tapestry of lies and subterfuge...
Poor Odo. Our station constable finally lets his guard down for an episode and the results are superb as he struggles with his feelings for the mysterious woman he goes from investigating to protecting... channeling his inner Kevin Costner.

I think the bitter-sweet ending was all the more impactful on Odo, realising that it is better to have love and lost then to have never loved at all.

Elsewhere on the station, we got to see glimpses of another Julian Bashir spy holonovel and that was a nice break from the usual fare of B-plot stories.
