To save Trip's life after a catastrophic injury, Phlox attempts to acquire a transplant by cloning him. However, Archer is troubled by the moral dilemma of sacrificing a sentient being to save another...
Enterprise tackles cloning and genetic engineering in this great episode of the third season.

I think Archer made the right choice given the weight of the mission they are on... but is breeding a sentient being purely to harvest its tissue ethically right? I, personally, don't know where I stand on this issue - and this episode has once again made me think about it...

(I'm just glad teenage Trip grew up...)
