Cygnus Captured; Exoplanets Collide & Tiny Black Holes Found : Talkin’ Science

A trio of interesting headlines for this week’s show – including continuing coverage of Northrop Grumman’s new and improved Antares rocket successfully delivering their new and improved Cygnus capsule – the SS Alan Bean – to the International Space Station, which is celebrating it’s nineteenth year of continuous human habitation this week. Astronomers have discovered a collision between exoplanets that’s thrown a curve ball into our understanding of solar system dynamics and tiny black holes have been found that previously were thought impossible.
