LIVE: Crew Dragon Set to Take Flight

In A Trekzone Conversation

We’re LIVE to the Kennedy Space Center this morning as SpaceX’s Dragon capsule is set to take flight as part of the final crucial test phase before it can be pressed into service.

This morning’s launch is a special one for the American space agency, with the nine year drought of crewed missions lifting off from the launch complex officially over. Since NASA retired the space shuttle, they’ve been hitching rides on board the Soyuz capsules launched by the Russian space agency from their facility in Kazakhstan. Doug Hurley and Robert Behnken will put this craft through it’s paces throughout this mission.
