Once thought dormant, astronomers are now theorising that there’s been volcanic activity on Venus in the past two million years. Meanwhile astronomers using the European Southern Observatory Very Large Telescope have taken the first ever ‘direct’ image of another solar system featuring two gas giants and Russia has been accused of using an anti-satellite weapon again.
