Australia signs on to a Japanese sample return mission. In 2029, we’ll have the first ever samples from Phobos. The largest massive impact crater in sixteen years has been found on Mars and speaking of large, meet 2022 AP7 – an asteroid ranking in the top 5% of all time biggest potentially hazardous objects – and it could get in Earth’s way in the next few hundred years.
