Hot on the heels of his appearance on A Trekzone Conversation last week, Perth film maker Aaron Vanderkley has announced the cast for his next Star Trek: Voyager era fan film.
All Good Things…
In the series finale, Captain Picard finds himself moving through time. When Q arrives, it’s revealed that the trial he began during the Farpoint mission nev er ended and that humanities fate is still to be decided…
The Trekzone Review
I think this is the second least sad finale from the franchise… where Star Trek’s Turnabout Intruder was just an episode that happened to be the last, All Good Things IS the final episode and we wrap up all the loose threads leaving our crew in the present with their mission still the same … exploring those strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilisations. (DS9 & VOY end with our crew breaking up and/or the mission complete.)
Patrick excells as our leader one last time, juggling three very different versions of himself while carrying the weight of the human race on his shoulders from the third act. And then John de Lancie comes along and tells us that it’s all been his doing.
Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard
Jonathan Frakes as Will Riker
Gates McFadden as Beverley Crusher
Brent Spiner as Data
Levar Burton as Geordi LaForge
Michael Dorn as Worf
Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi
Special Guest Star:
John de Lancie
Ronald D. Moore
