The Trekzone Review
This was a great hour of television. Paraphrasing Deanna – ‘we have all this technology and we can’t communicate with them.’ Darmok grabbed the Star Trek episode ‘how-to’ guide and threw it out the window and in fact, no meaningful resolution came of this episode, except the Tamarians stopped firing on the Enterprise and left.
Are we friends with these people now? Did anything that happen, including their Captain dying in the vein hope of communication, have a purpose? Make up your own mind I guess.
