The actorâs strike is over, new fan film releases and have you seen Star Wars fan films?!
When the Federation offers to secretly supply the Cardassians with industrial replicators, Starfleet Intelligence believes the Maquis may try and hijack the shipment. Eddington and Odo believe that there may be a smuggler on the station… Kassidy Yates.
The Maquis, yeap apparently they’re still a thing, are back… and this time there is another defection from a Starfleet officer, and Sisko’s own love – Kassidy – is helping smuggle supplies to them as well. The question is – who’s side are you on?
Personally, I’m with the Maquis. Eddington’s speech was very un-Star Trek-esque… something that would never have been approved by Gene, but which Ira really pushed his series in this direction and it stands the test of time more than TNG or Voyager does (both of the latter are still good, but DS9 still tells some stories like they do today.)
Meanwhile, Garak takes an interest in Ziyal and I think that it’s more about being the only two exiled Cardassians.
