Another Star Trek series first, a native American Starfleet officer. I’m starting to think that they were running out of story ideas with this one… an episode about a ‘God’ actually being an alien visitor was done in The Original Series. But still, I can’t completely ridicule the episode – it’s Trek that I hadn’t seen before…
