It’s a bit of a bummer that this season has started off with two mediocre episodes. They’re not neccessarily bad, but they don’t make the top 50 list of essential episodes either.

After six years of getting to know Geordi we’re suddenly introduced to his mother and father who have long careers in Starfleet and his sister gets a mention.
