The Trekzone Review
We’re picking up steam as we dive into the midway point of the second season of our new Star Trek series and once again episodes are beginning to shine after the necessary exposition are out of the way. The Red Angel makes her first of recurring appearances in the opening titles from this episode, a space to watch for clues as to the stars of the show… something we haven’t seen from Star Trek before.
While the buzz is certainly there for the show with fans, the writers keep introducing new puzzles into the mix and it’s getting a little tricky to keep up. Now Ariam is doing something funky, Section 31 killed Burnham’s parents (of course they did… really…) Saru’s recovery from Vahar’ai and Culber’s return from the dead.
Overall though this is a thrilling inclusion into the season two chapter and it was expertly helmed by Trek first timer Marta Cunningham.

Doug Jones as Saru

Mary Wiseman as Slyvia Tilly
