OSIRIS-REx Returns To Earth With Samples Of Asteroid Bennu : Trekzone’s Exclusive Coverage
A successful crash landing back to Earth. Seven years and a handful of days after it was launched, OSIRIS-REx returns
As the crew attempts to unwind at a party, Harry Mudd arrives on board trying to discover the truth behind the Discovery and it’s secret engine… at his disposal is a time crystal that allows him to repeat the same thirty minutes over and over.
I guess you can make enemies pretty easily when you leave them behind in a Klingon prison cell, so Harry’s back to exact some form of revenge by killing Lorca over and over again. Oh, and he also wants to sell Discovery to the Klingons (I’d like to think they’d betray any deal with him once they have what they want.)
Rainn Wilson is absolutely smashing it as Mudd, he’s turned a comedic character who appeared four times in the original and animated series where he had a hint of evil cunning into this murderous madman hell bent on revenge.
In what is otherwise a bottle show, we’re given some deeper insight into the inner workings of the ship as the crew let their hair down (not sure about the 20th century music though…) and Burnham and Tyler develop something… not quite sure what that is yet.
