And we’re off and racing with the second season of Discovery. I’m confused a little, are these NEW signals as they appear to seem, or are these part of the 7 that were already reported? I’m guessing new signals (so 7+) as they wouldn’t have just appeared. Anyway, we have the signals, we have a human colony far flung from where humans are supposed to be and we have some great character development for Pike.
Anson Mount just hits every stride afforded to him, he is a brilliant actor and the epitome of a Starfleet Captain.
New Eden is a fantastic TOS-esque episode that gives us everything we need to start wondering who, what, when and how is this Red Angel!? It’s a shame Tig wasn’t in this one, although we could only squeeze so many characters onto the bridge. Tilly did a fantastic job as she confronts the spore that dropped on her shoulder last season (nice tie in by the way!)
