The Drawn Line Part II : Trekzone Plays Star Trek Bridge Commander
Representing the Federation at a peace summit on Lya Station, the Sovereign must defeat a surprise Cardassian attack while diffusing
A young Kelpien named Saru lives a simple life with his family on the planet Kaminar. His ingenuity and desire to learn more about the universe lead him to a future he never expected.
Just who are the Kelpians? And why have we never heard from them before? It’s a mystery that has plagued fans since the Denobulans in Enterprise and our journey into prequel territory.
We see them on their homeworld in this Short trek, a timid and very primitive culture, accepting that every so often quite a few Kelpians give themselves to the Ba’ul in a ritual sacrifice.
Our man Saru – a young Saru – doesn’t want to participate in this and openly defies his father by constructing a transmitter using abandoned technology… I mean we knew that Saru gets off the planet somehow and with the shortened runtime, I knew it was going to be a rush to get to the climax but this still felt forced.
Watching this again, didn’t Data do the same things as Gorgeiou in an episode of TNG?
