The Trekzone Review
Terrorism… it’s there on almost every planet. I love how the writers use Data to ask the question no human character could. In this episode – “Is terrorism a viable option?” When that Asada terror–freedom fighter boarded the ship and shot that dude… why did the person he was with just run away!?
The whole Asada-on-the-ship scene was just a bit cliched, but it was lucky that Geordi was in Engineering because otherwise the ship would’ve exploded!
As for the discussion on terrorism, this episode really let me down. Yeah it’s bad, but why do they do it? What has to trigger a group to start terrorising — freedom fighting? (We never really get an explanation for the Maquis either, really…)
