Barclay’s back! And I think this was the perfect script for him. Dwight adds some depth to Barclay that breaks the mould of the typical Starfleet officer… and that’s a good thing. Mr. Barclay proves that humans in the 24th century are fallible.
Troi and LaForge tell Barclay that this experience will change him, in ways that he can’t even imagine now… and I think that’s true, especially what he accomplishes with Voyager.
