I studied this episode a lot when I was writing Eternal Night, it is the perfect combination of mystery and time travel that I was hoping to convey with my series. The beautiful Rachel Robinson played her part so well, helping us to feel her emotions as she experienced them through the harrowing story of Jake’s life.
Eventually we deus ex machina’d back to ‘now’ time and things were alright with the galaxy once again.
