The Cardassians seal their border and the Klingons send a taskforce to Deep Space Nine to help protect the Wormhole. Unsure of their true motivations, Sisko recruits Worf to uncover their true motive…
This is how you start a season, with a big bang and lots of character exposition! Now, while the battle scenes were awesome and easily the best (and most detailed) we’ve seen to date in the series, I think the title for best scene this episode has to go to Quark and Garak discussing their problems in the bar… comparing the Federation to Root Beer, bright and bubbly – but it eventually grows on you, can they save them?
Bashir and Odo discussing the boarding parties gave them a moment of mutual respect and then Garak goes to defend the Council members, fighting side-by-side with Dukat. This was easily the most ‘advancing’ episode for characters and the overall series plot.
As a result of the amazing battle scenes, I’ve created a new section to the screen caps… detailing them in a special section below.
