This is a way of giving two characters some meaty dialogue and storylines without involving the actors who play those characters!! Tuvix was portrayed as a combination of Tuvok and Neelix very well by Tom Wright. The decision to restore Tuvok and Neelix weighed very heavily on Janeway, it’s such a shame that the final moments of the episode are the only repercussions we see… a big deal was made about killing Tuvix and yet he’s never mentioned again.
