March has been a month of growth for me professionally, personally and in my hobby – running this website. I’m extremely grateful to all those new people I have met and those that have filed reports for their sites / podcasts about last week’s chat with Rod. I’ve been blown away by the ratings reports that have come in since then and I thought I’d share some of the numbers with you.

Keep in mind that I run this entire website by myself, I don’t have a staff or a marketing budget so any ratings are good ratings. I write ‘as’ the website on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Vimeo plus I also share my thoughts on Instagram as well.

In the year to date, TREKZONE.ORG has seen 1, 740 unique sessions and 5, 064 page views, an increase of 142.97% on this time last year. In the past week alone, 453 unique sessions were logged with 1, 378 page views. The news article about my chat with Rod was the most popular page.

In the past twenty eight days, TREKZONE.ORG on YouTube has recorded 2, 577 video plays with 12, 523 minutes watched. Sixty new users have subscribed, and The Trekzone Spotlight with Rod has been watched over 1, 770 times.

In the last fortnight, I’ve reached 852 unique users (up 239.4% on the previous fortnight), sixteen new likes and 144 clicks (up 620% on the previous fortnight.)

In the last week, I’ve reached over 14, 490 unique users and my tweets have been read over 30, 150 times, twenty new followers have come aboard.

While these figures won’t set the world on fire, or win any awards… they are, for me, testament that if I create engaging content I can reach an audience and my thoughts, opinions and news articles will be read by a few people. So thank you.
