Another day of Star Trek: Las Vegas, another announcement – as we gear up for what’s surely going to be a massive weekend.

Anson Mount’s panel early this afternoon, that Discovery‘s second season was being mastered to Blu-ray and DVD and available for purchase from November 12th. CBS has now provided the official announcement… the release includes over two hours of bonus material including behind the scenes featurettes and a gag reel. Two episodes of Short Treks tied into the second season of Discovery: “Runaway” featuring Ensign Sylvia Tilly, and “The Brightest Star” featuring Commander Saru.

• ENTER THE ENTERPRISE
  Captain Pike shepherds U.S.S. Discovery through Season Two, but must return to his original command on the U.S.S. Enterprise. The production designer, builders, actors and producers discuss the daunting task of reviving the iconic ship’s bridge.
