We’re back with a brand new season of Talkin’ Science after a successful 2019.
Today, Brad’s got details on new evidence found of the “cosmic dawn” – a period just after the big bang, but before galaxies started forming – astronomers working out of a US observatory have found some pretty huge hydrogen bubbles. Plus, the James Webb Space Telescope – which has suffered numerous setbacks – has had it’s launch window confirmed again by NASA, originally set in 2018… the space agency is confident it’ll achieve it’s mid-2021 target.
Brad and Matt also discuss the devastating bushfires impacting much of Australia, with smoke settling over our nation’s capital (and Brad’s home) causing flight cancellations and serious health concerns for the residents.
