This week marks fifty years since the flight of NASA’s successful failure in Apollo 13. And while our main show was released on Tuesday almost to the hour of the explosion, today is exactly fifty years since the splashdown of the command module and the successful return of Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert and Fred Haise.
