More behind the scenes action has been happening since I last posted on the site. This week was spent in spreadsheets upon spreadsheets and reviews upon reviews… I’ve been trying to balance the books to justify a new workhorse camera, my first in almost six years. (Sure, I bought a GoPro last year… but that doesn’t count.)

I convinced the bank on Friday to give me the money, and now the new toy should be arriving in about two weeks… just in time to take her to Perth for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo at the Claremont Showgrounds at the end of this month.

It’ll be the first time I’ll have gone to the Perth Supanova event in about five years so it’ll be great to check it out once again at the great Showground digs. I have scored a sit down interview with Anthony Montgomery and hopefully I can catch Karl Urban too.

I’ve also been keeping up on the rumblings from Aus Comic Con, and I hear that Mr. William Shatner will in attendance with Jeffrey Combs. So the feeler has been sent out for that awesome event a week after Supanova at the beginning of July. Hopefully they’ll say yes… and I can bring you another great TREKZONE.org exclusive.

Remember, this is the first Star Trek fan site made by an Aussie in Australia… and the Tenth birthday is on July 10.
