Heart of Glory
Responding to reports of a battle in the Neutral Zone, the Enterprise comes across a freighter, with three Klingons aboard who claim they were being pursued by the Ferengi. Beaming them back for treatment, Worf is told the truth – that they are fleeing because the Empire has become complacent with the peace treaty…
Our first look at a new replicator and Klingon death rituals… and the writers are still trying to convince us that the Ferengi are a real threat. Also the first reference to how Worf became a Starfleet officer, including the Khitomer outpost. Another first, Worf having to choose between his people and his duty…
Do we ever get to hear or see Worf’s half brother again? (Certainly his Klingon brother… but the human brother?) And nothing is ever spoken of Geordi’s visual accuity device… shame, I liked that.
