SYNOPSIS
Doctor Manheim’s latest temporal experiment has wide ranging implications, investigating the Enterprise encounters an old flame of Picard’s and a growing danger to the entire fabric of the space-time continuum..
REVIEW
The first mentions of the Manheim effect and his research, which would go on to be a super weapon in the game Armada II, and several episodes in the future. This was a nice effort to give Picard some back story and an interesting mystery.
It’s also the first episode to delve into time travel, a plot line that would be visited many times in the future…
