SYNOPSIS
On planet Capella IV to negotiate mining rights for the rare mineral topaline, things get complicated when the Klingons arrive and demand rights for themselves…
REVIEW
A great classic, original episode with those manipulative Kling-ons, and a flagrant disregard for the prime directive – although it would’ve been a very distasteful outcome if Kirk had’ve let Eleen be killed. Meanwhile, Scotty is getting some great command experience, after chasing off a ghost distress call AND a Klingon cruiser who ‘didn’t have the belly for combat.’ Classic!
