A source close to the production of the next Star Trek series has somewhat confirmed early rumors that there are big changes to the post production staff on the Toronto-based production, the first Trek series in over a decade.

“Star Trek: Discovery, due to the enormous task of assembling a cast and crew worthy of the first Star Trek series in over a decade, began principal photography later than initially scheduled. Naturally for a production this size, that has necessitated alteration and reorganisation in post. These decisions are not easy or made in haste, but they will give you, our fans, an incredible new Star Trek series in 2017.”
