Aaron Vanderkley Serves Up More Trek Goodness

Updated 7 May 2019 By Matt

He’s fast becoming known in Trek fan circles as a man that can get things done. Hot off the heels of the 2016 release of The Needs of the Many, Aaron Vanderkley has written, directed and released The Derelict – a deeper look into the Enterprise era.

By getting stuff done, Aaron is proof that the guidelines aren’t a hinderance – but rather a helpful tool to restrict wild and expensive ideas. His use of character driven storylines over shoot ’em ups allows his cast and crew to focus on getting the basics right, rather than relying on a CGI budget to tell the story.

A huge thanks to the Esplanade Fremantle – by Rydges for the nights accommodation!
