The mountain of entertainment is coming to Australia. Long promised, this morning a date has officially been announced. Wednesday, August 11 2021.
This launch is interesting with international rights deals in place at various other outlets, not every original series will be coming to the platform – at least not yet.
One such original series – franchise in fact – is Star Trek, with Netflix owning international streaming rights for Discovery and Amazon Prime seeing Lower Decks and Picard. However, two quick shots in the launch promo seem to indicate the movies will be coming home… with Into Darkness featuring…
