SYNOPSIS
Pursuing a class-J cargo ship into an asteroid belt, the Enterprise turns rescuer as the ship’s engines overheat. Beaming over the crew, Kirk and his senior officers unwittingly capture fugitive Harry Mudd.
REVIEW
An early attempt at humour in Star Trek falls more into the awkward category this time around. We’re starting to get a sense of identity of each of our main characters though, and this is the first episode to end with the trio (Kirk, Spock and McCoy) cracking a joke at Spock’s expense.
