Discovery Renewed for Season 3
The naysayers have been proven wrong, yet again. CBS has officially renewed Discovery for a third season overnight.
Startrek.com reports that in addition to this great news, Michelle Paradise will be joining Alex Kurtzman as co-show runner. Paradise joined the creative staff mid-season two and brought her ‘ferocious knowledge of Star Trek’ with her.
Her grasp of character and story detail, her drive and her focus have already become essential in ensuring the Trek legacy, and her fresh perspective always keeps us looking forward. I’m proud to say Michelle and I are officially running Star Trek: Discovery.

My prediction is that Discovery will only go 3 seasons then will more into Area 31, unless A31 spins off now?
I believe Section 31 will be spinning off Discovery, and we wont see that until Disco wraps..
